In limited words, Jordan has a great economic growth potential throughout tourism. Tourism, the fastest growing industry has different types such as mass tourism, ecotourism and volunteer tourism. some tourists chose to travel with purpose, to help other communities while enjoying their trips, bridging cultures. Here I refer to volunteer tourism (I call it Voltourism).
Most north Americans target south American countries or the Far East , while Europeans chose israeli kibbutz, some go to Egypt . Jordan Tourism Board is trying to promote voltourism with no tangible results!!
I'm thinking loudly how to divert those potential tourists to our country?
what I want to say here: It is possible to make money from tourism. Yes, there is money in tourism. Also we should build up tourism from the tourism income. (infrastructure, development, marketing...)
